Realme GT 5G is a new high-end smartphone from the Chinese brand Realme in China. It is the brand’s first flagship smartphone in 2021 and comes with the top-end Snapdragon 888 chipset. Other notable specs of the Realme GT 5G include 64MP triple rear cameras, a 120Hz AMOLED panel, and Stainless Steel VC Cooling System.

The Realme GT 5G price in China is CNY 2,799 (around Rs. 31,500) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage option. You can purchase the top-end option with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage for CNY 3,299 (around Rs. 37,100). The handset is up for grabs in Silver and Blue colorways as well as a Vegan Leather version from March 10th.
Realme GT 5: Specifications & Features
The device rocks a 6.43-inch Super AMOLED panel on the front with a punch-hole cutout for a selfie camera. The display supports a 120Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 1000nits, and Gorilla Glass 5. Under the hood, there is a Snapdragon 888 chipset paired with an Adreno 660 GPU, 8 / 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

The phone boots Android 11 out of the box with Realme UI 2.0 custom skin running on top. It supports 5G Dual-mode, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6, GPS, Dolby Atmos, and Hi-Res audio. For security, Realme equips an under-display fingerprint reader inside the phone. The whole thing is fueled by a 4,500 mAh battery, which supports 65W fast charging. The brand also offers a GT mode, which allows users to boost the performance of the phone even more.
For photography, the Realme GT 5G boasts a triple-camera lens setup on the rear, consisting of a 64MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2MP macro shooter. Users can use the 16MP shooter housed inside the front punch-hole cutout for picturing selfies and video calling. The cameras support PureRaw mode, up to 4K video recording at 60fps, AI selfie, and more.
