After multiple rumors and leaks, Realme finally confirmed the Realme C3 launch date in India. The brand has sent out press invites for its launch event for the handset on 6 February, which will also be livestreamed via the brand’s Youtube channel and Facebook page from 12:30 p.m. Previously, we have already reported that the handset will likely feature a bigger battery than its predecessor Realme C2. In addition, it will come with an Helio G70 SoC, rear-mounted fingerprint reader, and a dual rear camera setup. It is also confirmed to be the first phone from Realme to feature Android 10-based Realme UI.
The Realme C3 is tipped to be positioned in the budget segment just like its predecessor Realme C2, which was priced at Rs. 5,999. Therefore, we believe that the Realme C3 price in India will fall between Rs. 6,000 and Rs. 7,000 varied between memory configurations. The handset will likely take on the Redmi 8A, whose price is Rs. 5,999 for its entry-level model.
This upcoming smartphone belongs to the Realme C series, which is one of the most successful series from the Chinese brand. According to Realme’s recent announcement, its Realme C series has reached 10.2 million units sold since the first phone in the series was announced at the end of 2018. For now, there are two Realme C smartphones introduced in India, including Realme C2 and Realme C1.
Realme C3: Expected Specifications
For now, not all Realme C3 specifications have been revealed. All we know so far is that the handset will come with a massive 5,000 mAh battery, which is larger than the 4,000mAh unit on the Realme C2. Aside from that, the device will be powered by an Helio G70 chipset, along with 3/4GB of RAM and 32/64GB of storage. It is also tipped to flaunt a 6.5-inch display with a water-drop notch at the top.
Camera-wise, there will likely be a dual-camera setup at the back of the phone, including a 12MP primary sensor.
