Realme C2 With Helio P22 & 4,000mAh Battery Launched In India

Realme just launched the Realme C2 in India along with the Realme 3 Pro. Its highlight includes Helio P22 SoC and a 4,000mAh cell.

At the launch event of the Realme 3 Pro took place in Delhi, the Chinese phone maker Realme also announced the budget Realme C2. This new handset comes with a Diamond-cut design. Other highlights include water-drop notch, a 4,000mAh cell, a tall screen and more.
Realme C2: Availability & Price
The budget Realme C2 comes in two memory configurations, including 2GB of RAM/16GB of storage and 3GB of RAM / 32GB of storage. They are priced at Rs. 5,999 and Rs. 7,999, respectively. It will be up for sale from 15 May via e-commerce site Flipkart. According to Realme India’s CEO, Madhav Sheth, buyers can also get benefits that worth Rs. 5,300 which makes it practically free.
As for color variant, Realme offers two color variants of the Realme C2 which are Diamond Blue and Diamond Black.
Realme C2: Specs & Features
The handset sports a 6.1-inch HD display with a water-drop notch on top and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. Powering the phone is an octa-core MTK Helio P22 SoC clocked at 2.0GHz built on the 12nm process. As for software, it will run the latest Android 9.0 Pie with Oppo’s Color OS 6.0 on top. The UI on the handset is claimed to be ad-free.
In terms of cameras, the new budget handset features dual cameras on the rear, which are a 13MP primary camera and 2MP secondary camera. Up front, it comes with a 5MP AI camera for taking selfies and video calling. It also has support for Chrome Boost and slow-mo video recording @ 480p & 80fps. Powering the phone is a 4,000mAh cell with no fast charging support. For unlocking the phone, Realme goes for a Facial Recognition feature instead of a fingerprint scanner.
