Realme C17 Launched With Quad Cameras, New Chipset, For Around Rs. 13,800

For a price of around Rs. 13,800, the Realme C17 features a new chipset, a beefy battery with fast charging, and quad rear cameras.

Besides Narzo 20 series, Realme - OPPO's sub-brand, has just launched a new mid-range smartphone in the C series, called Realme C17. The phone owns a large screen, huge battery, quad rear cameras but comes at a fairly affordable price.

The Realme C17 will go on sale from September 22 in two color options: Blue and Green. The device retails for $189 (around Rs. 13,900) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage version.

The device is equipped with a 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen, supporting HD+ resolution (720 x 1600 pixels), and a refresh rate of 90Hz. The screen of the device takes up 90% of the front area, featuring a punch-hole design with a small cut-out located in the upper left corner to accommodate an 8MP selfie camera.

Moving to the back, the Realme's mid-range phone carries a quad-camera system placed in a rectangular module. The rear camera cluster includes a 13MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP monochrome sensor.

On the inside, the phone possesses the hardware power from Qualcomm's Snapdragon 460 processor, combined with Adreno 610 GPU, 6GB RAM, and 128GB storage. In addition, it also supports storage expansion via a microSD card slot.

The handset is fueled by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. The device is pre-installed with Android 10 with Realme UI interface running on top. Other features include dual SIM slots, 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm headphone jack, and USB Type-C port.
