Realme 6i Indian Version To Launch Soon, Helio G90T & 90Hz Display Teased

The Realme 6i will be Realme's next mid-range smartphone and it will reportedly feature 48MP quad-camera setup, Helio G90T gaming chipset, and 90Hz display.

According to Realme’s CFO Madhav Sheth, the Realme 6i launch in India will officially take place on 24 July at 12:30 p.m. The news is shared on a new tweet via Sheth’s official Twitter account. He also revealed the chipset and display refresh rate of the Realme 6i. Don’t get confused with the Realme 6i version launched two months ago. The upcoming Realme 6i India version will be different from the one launched in Myanmar. Instead of Helio G80 and 60Hz screen, this Realme 6i version is confirmed to feature a 90Hz display and an Helio G90T chipset.

Realme 6i: Specifications & Features

On the front, the handset will likely come with a 6.5-inch display with Full-HD+ resolution. Under the hood, an Helio G90T gaming chipset will be in charge of powering the phone along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of UFS 2.1 storage, which you can expand further using a microSD card (up to 256GB). The handset is said to boot Android 10-based Realme UI at launch to take care of the software side of things and pack a beefy 4,300 mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging technology.

On the side, there will be a fingerprint scanner mounted on the power button for security purposes. Around the back, you will likely see a quad-camera array, consisting of a 48MP main sensor with an LED flash, EIS. The other three units on the setup are said to be an 8MP wide-angle shooter, a 2MP macro camera with a 4cm focal range, and a 2MP monochrome lens. For selfies and video calls, users will have a 16MP camera on the front. Finally, connectivity features of this phone will include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, USB-C port, GPS/GLONASS, and 4G VoLTE.
