Realme 6i has finally been introduced in India. Don’t be confused with the Realme 6i that was released in March, and then brought to the Indian market under the name Narzo 10 in May. The one that is introduced today is a rebranded version of the Realme 6s that made its first debut in May. This right here clearly illustrates how confusing Realme is naming its smartphones in different markets.
Overall, the Realme 6i is a watered-down version of the Realme 6. While the Realme 6 is equipped with a 64MP main sensor, the one on the Realme 6i only has a 48MP resolution.
Realme 6i: Price in India & Availability
The Realme 6i price in India is as follows:
- 4GB RAM + 64GB storage: Rs. 12,999
- 6GB RAM + 64GB storage: Rs. 14,999
Both variants will be available for sales in the country from 31st July via Realme’s official website, Flipkart, and Royal Club Partners.
Realme 6i: Specifications & Features
As mentioned, the 6i is a rebranded model of the 6s and watered-down model of the Realme 6. At the helm of the phone, there is an Helio G90T chipset, running with 4 / 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The front panel is covered by a 6.5-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. In comparison, its rivals in the segment like Redmi Note 9 Pro only has a standard 60Hz display.
The device is equipped with a fingerprint reader on the side and a 4,300 mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging technology. However, the brand only packs a 20W adapter along with the phone, so you have to purchase a 30W adapter if you want to utilize the 30W charging standard. There is a dedicated microSD card slot that can be used to expand the phone’s storage up to 256GB.
For photography, you can easily see a quad-camera cluster at the back of this phone. The setup includes a 48MP main sensor, paired with an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP portrait camera. On the front, a 16MP camera is placed inside the punch-hole for selfies and video calls. You can get this phone in either Luna White or Eclipse Black.
