While Realme is planning to announce the Realme X2 Pro in the Indian market on 20 November and Realme XT 730G next month, the brand seems to be working on the successor to the Realme 5 as well. The alleged retail box of the Realme 6 has been posted online not long ago, revealing that the Realme 6 might pack four rear cameras and a Snapdragon 710 chipset. While we couldn’t verify the authenticity of the leak, new live photos of the phone have emerged. The leak also suggests that the price of the Realme 6 should be around CNY 1,000 (roughly Rs. 10,200), which is in the same price range as the Realme 5. As for the launch date, the handset is expected to launch next year. It is also understandable since the Realme 5 has only been available for nearly three months. To recall, the Realme 5 was released on August, five months after the official launch of its predecessor Realme 3.
The full front design of the Realme 6 has been revealed by the new live photos. You can see a center-aligned hole-punch on the display of the phone along with a relatively thick bezel at the top and on the sides. At the bottom, it also has a thick chin similar to many other Android smartphones. It seems like the device is only in the testing phase at the moment as one of the phones in the photo appears to run on the AOSP version of Android while it is blurred out on other phones, but we can still see the ColorOS icons. In another photo, the Settings of the phone in Chinese is shown, but it doesn’t give us any specs aside from the fact that it will support two SIM cards, which is very common for smartphones from Chinese brands.
