Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro are officially confirmed to make their debut in India on 5th March with 64MP main camera and dual punch-hole display.

Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro are two upcoming smartphones in the Realme’s mobile portfolio in India. There have been a lot of leaks about the two, but their launch date was still under wraps. Now, it is finally revealed to take place in India on 5 March. Not just that, the brand also hints some of the details about the handset, especially its design.

Realme Mobiles’ CEO - Madhav Sheth tweeted saying that the device will have a 64MP main sensor. It was also confirmed by a promotional photo featuring Sheth and Realme’s new brand ambassador Salman Khan.

In Sheth’s tweet, he also included a photo of Khan holding the Realme 6 or 6 Pro. You can clearly see that the handset has a dual punch-hole display, thin bezels, and it looks similar to the POCO X2, which launched in India earlier this month. The pill-shaped cut-out on the front pretty much confirms that the phone will have dual selfie cameras.

Realme 5 was launched last year with quad rear cameras and Snapdragon 665 SoC.

Recently, the vanilla model bagged Wi-Fi Alliance certification and the listing revealed the presence of Helio G90T chipset on the handset. Under the hood, it is said to pack a 4,300 mAh battery and support Bluetooth 5.0. As for the more premium 6 Pro, it was also spotted on the Wi-Fi Alliance database as well as the IMDA database. Since the two smartphones have been confirmed to launch in about one week from now. We will get more details in the next few days.

As mentioned, the Realme 6 & Realme 6 Pro will be officially introduced at a launch event on 5th March starting from 12:30 pm IST and you should be able to watch the event via an official live stream by the company.
