After passing through several certification websites, the Realme 6 has now been listed on the e-commerce giant Flipkart. The handset was spotted by tipster Mukul Sharma on Flipkart’s affiliate database, suggesting that its launch in India could be very close. It will arrive as a direct successor to the Realme 5, which launched last year with a Snapdragon 665 chipset and a quad-rear camera setup at a price of below Rs. 10,000. Sadly, the listing of the phone on Flipkart doesn’t give us any details regarding its specifications. According to previous leaks and rumors, the handset could get power from an Helio G90 SoC and run on Android 10.
Realme 6: Price
The Realme 6 price could be around Rs. 10,000, which is at the same level as that of its predecessor Realme 5.
Realme 6: Specifications
According to its Wi-Fi certification, the device will arrive with an Helio G90 processor at the helm, which is a gaming chipset with Mali-G76 GPU and supports up to 64MP sensor. The chipset is aided by MediaTek’s HyperEngine, which is claimed to improve performance and gaming experience. It includes a Networking Engine that can intelligently trigger concurrent LTE and Wi-Fi connections when Wi-Fi degrades, intelligent resource management, ability to connect both 5GHz and 2.4GHz Wi-Fi simultaneously, a Picture Quality Engine (support HDR10), and a Rapid Response Engine to improve touch input.
The handset will be pre-installed with Android 10 at launch, possibly with Realme UI 1.0 running on top. Other key features include a center-aligned punch-hole display and dual SIM slots. In terms of cameras, we believe that the Realme 6 could get a quad-camera cluster on the rear with a 48MP or 64MP main sensor.
