Indian e-commerce site Flipkart confirmed yesterday that the Realme 5s is coming soon. Now, a landing page for the device has been up on the website for the promotion of the upcoming Realme 5s. Moreover, it also confirmed that the device will be officially announced on 20 November on 20 November alongside Realme’s first flagship, Realme X2 Pro.

There is also a photo of the upcoming Realme 5s on the landing page and it reveals that the device will feature a similar design to the Realme 5, that launched back in August this year.
The unit on the photo is in Red color, but there should be more hues available when it launches. At the back, you can see a quad-camera lens setup with a 48MP primary sensor, which is definitely an improvement over the 12MP sensor on the Realme 5. Details of other sensors on the setup are still unknown at the moment, but we expect to see a 2MP dedicated macro camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and an 8MP ultra-wide lens.

The page on Flipkart also comes with a text line "Ultra Detailed Pictures, that remain sharp even when zoomed in." That might suggest that the Realme 5s will have a telephoto lens, but it could mean something else as the Realme 5 Pro doesn’t even have a telephoto unit.
Other specifications of the upcoming Realme 5s are still under wraps at the moment, but it should be slightly better than the standard Realme 5. It should have a Full-HD+ display, a faster charging rate, and a USB Type-C port.
The handset is expected to arrive to take on the likes of the Redmi Note 8, that launched in India in October. We should have more details soon as its official launch is just around one week away.
