Today, Realme finally announced the Realme 5i as its first budget smartphone in India this year. The device arrives as a direct successor to the Realme 3i with several notable upgrades and a part of the Realme 5 series, including Realme 5, Realme 5s, and Realme 5 Pro. Key specs of the device include quad rear cameras, 6.53-inch screen with a dewdrop notch, a Snapdragon 665 chipset, and a 5,000mAh battery.

Realme 5i: Price in India & Availability
The Realme 5i price in India is Rs. 8,999 for the variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage. There are two color variants Blue and Green. You can purchase one in the country on 15 January at 12 p.m on Realme.com and Flipkart. Buyers can avail Jio, Mobikwik, and Cashify offers on buying the Realme 5i.

Realme 5i: Specifications & Features
The handset flaunts a 6.5-inch display with HD+ resolution and a water-drop notch at the top. The display is protected by a Gorilla Glass 3+ layer. There is a Snapdragon 665 SoC ticking at its core, which is aided by 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. On the software side of things, it comes pre-installed with Android 9.0 Pie and ColorOs 6.0.1 and it is expected to get upgrades to Realme UI in the near future.

On the imaging front, the device sports a quad rear camera setup, including a 12MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP wide-angle shooter with f/2.25 aperture and a 118.9° field of view, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it gets an 8MP camera for selfies and video chats. Camera features are 4K video recording @ 30fps, super night mode, and slow-mo video recording @ 120fps.
Powering the Realme 5i is a massive 5,000 mAh battery that supports 10W charging technology and reverse charging as well. For security, it is equipped with a fingerprint reader at the back. Connectivity features include Dual 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS, and Bluetooth 5.0.
