Realme 5 Sold Out Within 30 Minutes On The First Sale

Realme has announced to sell out all Realme 5 smartphone units within 30 minutes in the first flash sale that took place on August 27.

The newly-launched Realme 5 was first available for sales on August 27. Accordingly, Realme announced that the phone was completely sold out within just 30 minutes in its first flash sale. In addition, the brand also revealed that it already shipped more than 120,000 devices on the same day. The brand also held another sale at 8 PM on the same day.
In case you could not buy the handset in these two flash sales, don’t need to worry. The handset will soon present on Realme.com, Flipkart and offline stores.
It is known that the phone has the starting price from Rs. 9,999 for the standard variant with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. Meanwhile, the mid-range variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage is priced at Rs. 10,999. Last, the 4GB RAM + 128GB internal storage variant has the price tag of Rs. 11,999.
The phone is available in two color options including Crystal Purple and Crystal Blue. Additionally, there are several sale offers for the Realme 5 including up to 10% SuperCash with MobikWik, and Rs. 7,000 worth of benefits from Reliance Jio. Also, those who buy the handset could receive an amount of cashback of Rs. 2,000 when paying through Paytm UPI.
To recall, the Realme 5 flaunts a 6.5-inch display with HD resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protective layer. Under the hood is a Snapdragon 655 chipset. In terms of software, the handset runs Android 9.0 Pie-based ColorOS 6.0 at launch. Regarding the imaging capabilities, the phone features a quad camera setup on the back. The setup includes a 12-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel sensor, a 2-megapixel portrait sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. On the front, the phone comes with a 13MP selfie shooter.
On the other hand, the brand has just teased that it is going to announce a new series called Realme Q on 5 September, which is said to boast a quad camera setup at the back.
