Realme just announced the Realme 3 With 4,230mAh cell, 4GB of RAM, and a MediaTek Helio P70 SoC in the India market in the entry-level segment.

After many leaks and rumors surfacing online, Oppo’s sub-brand Realme finally announced the Realme 3 in India. The new Realme phone was introduced at a launch event in India, and the details of the handset are pretty much in line with what said in the leaks. Below are the official details of the phone.

Realme 3: Prices & Availability
Realme will offer the Realme 3 in two options, including a base variant with 3GB of RAM/32GB of storage for Rs. 8,999. The top-end model with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage will set you back by Rs. 10,999. The handset will be up for sale via the company’s online store and Flipkart from 12 p.m on 12 March.
Realme 3: Specifications & Features
The new Realme handset comes with a unibody build and a gradient colour finish. It will come in a total of three colour variants, including Black, Dynamic Black, and Radiant Blue.

In terms of specifications, the Realme 3 sports a 6.3-inch HD+ display with a water-drop notch, an aspect ratio of 19:9, and is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by an MTK Helio P70 chipset. As mentioned, it will come in two memory configurations: 3GB of RAM/32GB of storage and 4GB of RAM/64GB of storage. Its storage can be expanded via a microSD slot up to 256GB.

In the imaging department, it sports a dual camera system on the rear, including a 13MP main sensor with an aperture of f/1.8, 5P Lens. It is coupled with a 2MP secondary depth sensor and a single LED flash as well. The rear cameras are backed with some features such as PDAF, Nightscape, Portrait mode, and Hybrid HDR. On the front, the Realme 3 packs a 13MP selfie camera backed by AI with an aperture of f/2.0, AI beautification, and support for HDR.
Under the hood, there is a 4,230mAh cell which is pretty great for its price range. In terms of security, Realme equips the handset with both Facial recognition tech and a fingerprint scanner. Other features include a dual-SIM slot, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, OTG, Wi-Fi. For software, it will run Oppo’s Color OS 6.0 which is based on Android 9 Pie.
