Realme 3 Pro With Snapdragon 710 SoC & 4,045mAh Battery Launched In India

Realme launches the Realme 3 Pro to take on the Redmi Note 7 Pro from Xiaomi.

At a launch event today, Realme has just announced two new additions to its Indian mobile portfolio, Realme 3 Pro and Realme C2. While the Reame C2 is launched in the budget segment, the Reame 3 Pro is set to take on the Redmi Note 7 Pro in India.

Realme 3 Pro: Availability & Price

The base option of the handset with 4GB of RAM/64GB of storage is priced at Rs. 13,999 while the top-end variant with 6GB of RAM/128GB of storage costs Rs. 16,999. It will be up for sale from 29 April via e-commerce site Flipkart and the company’s official website.

Realme offers three color variants for the Realme 3 Pro, including Nitro Blue, Carbon Gray, and Lightning Purple which has a multi-layer gradient finish on the rear panel.

Realme 3 Pro: Specs & Features

The handset sports a 6.3-inch FHD+ LCD 2.5D curved panel with a 2,340 x 1,080p resolution and a water-drop notch on top. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 5 as well. Powering the phone is a mid-range octa-core Snapdragon 710 chipset paired with an Adreno 616 GPU. As mentioned, the phone packs 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of storage which is expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card slot.

As per the company announcement, it will sport a dual camera system at the rear, including a 16MP primary shooter and a 5MP secondary depth sensor. Up front, it has a 25MP selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.2. Its connectivity options include dual SIM card slot, GPS, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, a micro-USB port, and a headphone jack.

As for software, the phone ships with the latest Android 9.0 Pie at launch with Oppo’s Color OS 6.0 on top. Under the hood, it packs a large 4,045mAh cell with support for Oppo’s VOOC 3.0 fast charging. Lastly, there is a fingerprint scanner mounted on the rear for unlocking the phone.
