After introducing the Realme 3, Realme hinted that the Realme 3 Pro will launch sometime in April and it will compete directly with the Redmi Note 7 Pro.

Oppo’s sub-brand Realme has just announced the Realme 3 as well as its plan to launch the Realme 3 Pro in the next month. The Chinese phone maker announced this news right after the event introducing the Realme 3. However, it didn’t reveal much about the handset in terms of specifications. The launch date of the phone was also vaguely hinted as well. Realme only hinted that the Realme 3 Pro will come sometime in April.

During the event, an interesting thing worth noticing was that Realme suggested the Realme 3 Pro launch date alongside the specifications of the much-anticipated Redmi Note 7 Pro. This may indicate that the Chinese company will set the Realme 3 Pro in the direct competition against the Redmi Note 7 Pro. As you can see in the image, with the line “Speed Awakens”, Realme is probably releasing the Realme 3 Pro with powerful hardware to offer users a powerful performance.

For now, we believe that this upcoming Realme handset will either match or even improve on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 in the specifications department. As per previous leaks and rumors, the handset is tipped to sport a 48MP main sensor, which is the same as on the Redmi Note 7 Pro. However, Realme actually denied the rumor saying that it’s working on a 48MP camera sensor.

To recall, the Redmi Note 7 Pro comes with a 48MP Sony IMX586 main sensor and it is powered by a Snapdragon 675 SoC. It also has a 13MP selfie camera and a 4,000 mAh battery.

Additionally, the Realme 3 Pro is also rumored to have support for fast charging, not like its predecessor Realme 2 Pro. That is all we have known so far, we will update as soon as there are new details of the Realme 3 Pro.
