Xiaomi is said to be working on a new handset that comes with a bizarre name -- Xiaomi Mi CC9e. While the Chinese phone maker has not confirmed anything about this handset, its alleged specifications sheet has just surfaced online. From the sheet, we can get some key specifications and features of the upcoming handset.

As per the sheet, the upcoming Mi CC9e will pack a 6.3-inch FHD+ IPS LCD panel. On top of the display, there will be a notch to accommodate a front-facing selfie shooter. At the back, it is tipped to come with a 3D glass. Ticking at its core will likely be either a Snapdragon 710 or a Snapdragon 712 SoC. In terms of camera, it is listed to feature triple rear cameras, including a 48MP + 13MP + 8MP sensors. Up front, there will most likely be a 32MP selfie camera. The leak also suggests that this phone might be launched as a selfie-focused smartphone. Finally, the leaked sheet also indicates that the device will be fueled by a 3,300 mAh battery and feature a fingerprint scanner on the back for biometric security.
To recall, an unknown Xiaomi smartphone with a model number of M1904F3BC/T was recently spotted on 3C website. The source responsible for the above leaked specifications sheet said that this model is the Mi CC9e. According to the 3C listing, the phone will have support for 18W fast charging.

Xiaomi has not announced or hinted at launching a Xiaomi C series so it is better to take this specs sheet with a grain of salt. However, it is highly possible as Xiaomi hasn't launched any selfie-centric smartphones yet while its sub-brand Redmi has already offered the Redmi Y series for selfie-addicted users. We will update as soon as we hear more about this phone, so stay tuned.
