POCO X3 Pro Launch Might Be Around The Corner As It Bags Multiple Certifications

POCO X3 Pro seems to be getting closer as the smartphone has already bagged quite a few certifications, including EEC, FCC, TUV, IMDA with the M2102J20SG model number. The IMEI certification reveals the name of the phone while the other three confirm some hardware details. According to the FCC certification, the upcoming POCO X3 Pro will run on MIUI 12.

Going by the number of certifications that the POCO X3 Pro, we likely see the phone’s debut in the global market in the near future. The X3 Pro India launch is also a high possibility since it has recently passed through the C-DOT CEIR website. As for its specifications, the device is revealed in the aforementioned certifications to support NFC and dual-band Wi-Fi. It is quite interesting that the handset only supports 4G LTE, not 5G.
According to a report by XDADevelopers, the POCO X3 Pro could be codenamed “bhima” and “vayu”. It suggests that the phone might come with the Qualcomm SM8150, which is the codename of the Snapdragon 855 chipset. It could feature a quad-camera lens setup at the back, led by a 48MP main sensor.
POCO X3: Specifications & Features
To recall, its sibling POCO X3 launched in India in September, featuring a 6.67-inch display with FHD+ resolution, a Gorilla Glass 5, and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 732G chipset, aided by up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It boots Android 10-based MIUI 12 and is IP53-certified for splash resistance. Under the hood, it packs a 6,000 mAh battery that supports charging at 33W.

Moving around the back, there is a quad-camera system, consisting of a 64MP Sony IMX682 main sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. Users also get a 20MP camera on the front for selfies and a fingerprint reader mounted on the side for biometrics security.
