After many leaked rumors, today, Xiaomi has officially launched the POCO X3. Beside being the world's first phone with a Snapdragon 732G chipset, the handset also features multiple high-end specs, such as a 120Hz screen, 5,1160 mAh battery (33W fast charging), and 64MP quad rear cameras.
POCO X3: Price & Availability
The POCO X3 will be sold in the European market on September 8 in two colors: Cobalt Blue and Shadow Gray. The prices for the product are as follows:
- 6GB + 64GB: 229 EUR, equivalent to around Rs. 20,000
- 6GB + 128GB: 269 EUR, equivalent to around Rs. 23,400

During the pre-order period, users can buy the phone at a preferential price of only 199 EUR / 249 EUR, equivalent to Rs. 17,200 / Rs. 21,600. This is the price for the European market, where the price is more expensive than in most markets. In the near future when the device is sold in Asian markets, including India, the device may have an even more attractive price.
POCO X3: Specifications & Features
Unlike previous POCO phones that were always a renamed version of a certain Xiaomi device, this time with the POCO X3, it is a brand new model. Its body is completed from polycarbonate plastic material with a metal frame.

On the back, the device stands out with a cluster of 4 cameras placed in a horizontal square module. This camera cluster has a design quite similar to what we see on leaked images of the upcoming Redmi Note 10. It is possible that the POCO X3 and Redmi Note 10 will share the same design.
The camera setup includes a 64MP f / 1.89 wide-angle camera using Sony IMX682 sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera with a 119-degree viewing angle, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth-sensing camera.

This back of the phone is divided into 3 symmetrical color arrays with the familiar vertical "POCO" logo in the middle. The two sides of the device are also curved for a comfortable grip.
On the front, the handset is equipped with a 6.67-inch screen, using DotDisplay LCD panel with Full-HD + resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate. The screen has a punch-hole design with a single 20MP f / 2.2 selfie camera placed inside. It has a contrast of 1500:1, covers 84% of the NTSC color range and 87.4% of the DCI-P3 color range, 450 nits of brightness and is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. Because the device doesn’t get an OLED screen, the fingerprint sensor of the device is integrated into the power button on the side instead of under the display like many mid-range smartphones launched this year.

In terms of performance, as previously reported, the POCO X3 is the first smartphone in the world to be equipped with a Snapdragon 732G chip that was introduced by Qualcomm not long ago. This chip offers a performance improvement of about 15% over the Snapdragon 730 / 730G. The handset is available in several memory configurations with 6GB RAM and 64GB / 128GB memory. The battery comes with a pretty massive 5,160mAh that supports 33W fast charging via a USB-C port. The device runs on Android 10 with MIUI 12 and POCO interface.
The handset is IP53 compliant for water and dust splashes and features LiquidCool Technology 1.0 Plus, including a graphite sheet and copper heat pipe for better internal heat dissipation and cooling.
