Xiaomi sub-brand POCO announced the POCO X3 NFC early this month in Europe and now, the brand finally brings the phone to India without NFC and an even beefier battery.

As you may recall, the device was announced with a 5,160 mAh battery, but the Indian version’s battery capacity is even higher 6,000mAh. However, both versions charge with 33W fast charging technology. Other than this difference, the two versions have the same set of specs and design.
POCO X3: Price & Availability
While the POCO X3 NFC launched in Europe is only available with 6GB RAM, the POCO X3 in India will be up for sale in three configurations, one of which has 8GB RAM.
- 6GB RAM + 64GB storage: Rs. 16,999
- 6GB RAM + 128GB storage: Rs. 16,499
- 8GB RAM + 128GB storage: Rs. 18,499
The device is available in Cobalt Blue and Shadow Gray and users can get one via Flipkart from September 29th.
POCO X3: Specifications & Features
The POCO X3 runs on Android 10-based MIUI 12 out of the box along with POCO Launcher 2.0. It features a 6.67-inch display, bearing 120Hz refresh rate, punch-hole style, and Gorilla Glass 5. Under the hood, the handset gets power from a Snapdragon 732G chipset, aided by an Andreno 618 GPU, 6/8GB of RAM, and 64/128GB of storage (expandable).
For photography, Xiaomi packs a total of five cameras on this phone. At the back, it gets a 64MP Sony IMX682 main sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera, two 2MP cameras for macro and portrait shots. Camera features include Pro mode, AI Skyscaping, Cyberpunk mode, Gold Vibes mode, and more. On the front, it is equipped with a 20MP camera housed inside the punch-hole for selfies and video chats. There are a fingerprint reader mounted on the side for security and dual stereo speakers for better sound quality.

As mentioned, the device is fueled by a 6,000 mAh battery, supporting 33W fast charging technology (charger included in the box). Other features include IR blaster, IP 53 for splash resistance, 4G LTE, aptX HD, GPS, dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS, headphone jack, and USB-C port. Finally, the Indian version doesn’t support NFC like the European version.
