The POCO X2 finally goes official with Snapdragon 730G & 120Hz display. The POCO X2 price in India starts from Rs. 15,999 for the 6GB + 64GB model.

After around one year and a half, Xiaomi’s former sub-brand POCO finally releases its second smartphone called POCO X2. The handset is introduced at a launch event in India.

The Poco X2 will be available in three colors, including Atlantis Blue, Matric Purple, and Phoenix Red. It will be up for sale via Flipkart from 12 p.m on 11 February. 

The device is offered in three memory configurations as well: 6GB RAM + 64GB storage, 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. The price for the base variant is Rs. 15,999, while the middle variant costs Rs. 16,999. The top-end model is significantly more expensive as it is retailed at Rs. 19,999.

POCO X2 price in India starts at Rs. 15,999 or Rs. 14,999 if you have an ICICI credit or debit cards.

Launch offers include Rs. 1,000 discount for ICICI Bank credit cards, debit cards, and EMI transactions. 

POCO X2: Specifications & Features

The handset is powered by a Snapdragon 730G SoC, aided by up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.1 storage. The phone also has Liquidcool technology that is touted to offer 300 percent faster heat compared to smartphones without liquid cooling technology. It also carries a beefy 4,500 mAh battery that supports 27W fast charging solution. In addition, instead of coming with a standard charger, there will be a 27W fast charger included in the box. The fast charger is claimed to fully charge the phone’s 4,500mAh battery in just 68 minutes.

On the front, as we have previously reported, the POCO X2 will sport a RealityFlow 120Hz 6.7-inch display with FHD+ resolution, a 20:9 aspect ratio and the Intelligent dynamic refresh rate feature to help the phone last longer. It is P2i Splash-proof technology for water resistance.

For photography, it gets a quad-camera setup at the back, consisting of a 64MP Sony IMX686 sensor, an 8MP wide-angle camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro camera. On the front, there is a dual selfie camera cluster housed in a pill-shaped punch-hole on the front, including a 20MP wide-angle sensor and a 2MP depth-sensing camera. Other features include VoWiFi for better indoor connectivity, side-mounted fingerprint reader, Android 10-based MIUI 11, and a headphone jack.
