POCO is about to release the POCO X2 in India on 4th February. For now, we have got a lot of details about the upcoming phone from leaks and rumors. Recent official teasers by POCO also reveal that the handset will come with 27W fast charging tech and 120Hz screen. In addition, the POCO X2 price in India is tipped to be around Rs. 18,999. Now, the handset has passed through the benchmarking platform Geekbench, confirming that it will arrive in at least two RAM variants - 6GB and 8GB. The device will reportedly be powered by a Snapdragon 730G chipset if it is indeed a rebranded model of the Redmi K30 4G.
POCO X2: Specifications
According to its listing on Geekbench, the POCO X2 6GB RAM variant scored 547 points in the single-core test and 1,757 points in the multi-core test. Meanwhile, its 8GB RAM model achieved respective scores of 549 and 1,771 points in the sing-core and multi-core tests. It shows that having an additional 2GB of RAM doesn’t make a significant difference in terms of performance. The listing also reveals that it will be powered by an octa-core chipset clocked @ 1.8GHz, which could be the Snapdragon 730G SoC. However, the benchmark scores of both variants are slightly higher than a standard Snapdragon 730G-powered smartphone. Therefore, you should take these listings with a grain of salt.
Anyway, the brand already revealed several details about the POCO X2 specifications. The handset will support 27W rapid charging solution. On the front, it will rock a 120Hz display. At the back, the device will come with a Sony IMX686 sensor. For now, the 120Hz is the key marketing point of the brand for the phone.
