It seems like Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO is no longer focusing only on low-cost flagship products, instead, the brand has also expanded its portfolio to the budget mid-range segment with the launch of the POCO X2 earlier this year.

Now, POCO continues to launch a new mid-range smartphone called POCO M2 Pro. Again, this is a slightly upgraded version of the Redmi Note 9 Pro available in several markets, including India.
POCO M2 Pro: Price & Availability
Regarding the price, POCO M2 Pro is sold in the Indian market at a price of Rs 13,999 for the standard 4GB / 64GB version. The 6GB / 64GB version will cost Rs 14,999 while the top-end 6GB / 128GB version will cost Rs 16,999. The device will be available on sales on July 14 in Blue, Black, and Green color options via Flipkart.

POCO M2 Pro: Specifications & Features
The handset is equipped with a 6.67-inch IPS LCD screen, supporting Full HD + 1080p resolution. It has a power button and a fingerprint sensor placed on the right side. The back is where the quad-camera cluster is located: a 48MP wide-angle camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 5MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth camera. In addition, the M2 Pro also has a 16MP selfie camera on the front.
In terms of hardware configuration, the device uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chipset and comes with 4GB or 6GB RAM as well as 64GB or 128GB internal memory. It has a microSD card slot, so you can easily expand its storage. The device packs a huge 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging technology similar to POCO F2 Pro, which allows users to charge 50% of the battery within 30 minutes. Overall, the POCO M2 Pro is nearly identical to the Redmi Note 9 Pro, launched in India back in March.
