POCO has teased a new offering in India, not long after bringing the POCO X3 to the country. The new phone will be called POCO C3, which is confirmed to make its debut in the Indian market on October 6th. It gets a dedicated page on Flipkart, confirming that it will be up for sales on the e-commerce site. We have already heard about the POCO C3 a few times in the last few months. It was spotted on Bluetooth certification site with model number M2006C3Mi not long ago.
For now, we don’t have many details regarding the POCO C3 design and specifications, so we can’t make any speculation. All we know so far is that the handset will feature triple rear cameras, housed inside a square housing, according to the Flipkart microsite. Previously, the POCO C3 was said to be a rebranded model of the Redmi 9C launched back in August this year. However, that is not the case as the Redmi 9C came to India under the name ‘Redmi 9’. Since the launch is nearly a week away, we should have more details soon.
Redmi 9C: Specifications
The Redmi 9C rocks a 6.53-inch LCD panel with HD+ resolution and a dewdrop notch at the top. It gets power from an Helio G35 chipset, aided by 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. There are a total of four cameras on this phone. There is a 5MP camera for selfies and video calls on the front while the rear camera setup includes a 13MP primary sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2MP portrait camera.
The whole thing is fueled by a 5,000mAh battery, with no fast charging support. Connectivity features include Dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5, micro-USB port, GPS / GLONASS, and Wi-Fi.
