Pixel 4a Revealed: Punch-Hole Display, Single Camera, Headphone Jack; To Launch First Half Of 2020

Unlike the Pixel 4, the Pixel 4a will likely arrive in India because it won't have a Soli chipset, which was the sole reason why the Pixel 4 couldn't come to India.

The first time Google launched the mid-range Pixel series was in May this year with the arrival of the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL. The Pixel 4 was also launched by Google last October, and for the time being, we have begun to witness the first rumors about the Pixel 4a, most likely to be introduced by Google in the early half of 2020.
Most recently, OnLeaks, an expert in leaking renders of smartphones, alongside 91Mobiles posted a series of leaked photos and a 360-degree video showing the full design of the Pixel 4a. Accordingly, the Pixel 4a will have a punch-hole screen, a headphone jack, and a single rear camera housed in a square module just like the Pixel 4.
If these images are to be believed, the Pixel 4a will be Google's first smartphone to use a hole-punch screen design. The newly launched Pixel 4 duo has removed the wide-notched screen on Pixel 3 XL to switch to the traditional design with a thick top bezel. The Pixel 4a's screen will also be a flat screen with about 5.7 to 5.8 inches in size, which is slightly larger than the 5.6-inch screen on the Pixel 3a.
Because the edges of the device are quite thin, especially on the top, there is only a small speaker slot, so we can not be sure whether Pixel 4a will support Motion Sense like Pixel 4 or not. However, this feature, in our opinion, is not too practical for daily use. Google can completely remove it to reduce production costs.
On the right side of the phone, we can see the familiar volume rocker and power button, the white version as shown in the renders will have an orange-accented power button. The top side will be where the 3.5mm headphone jack is located, while the USB-C charging port, speaker grille, and microphone will be placed at the bottom edge. The overall size of the Pixel 4a is expected to be 144.2 x 69.5 x 8.3mm (9mm including the camera protrusion).
Currently, there is not much information about the hardware configuration of Pixel 4a and Pixel 4a XL. Most likely Google will introduce the mid-range Pixel 4a duo at the Google I / O 2020 event held in the first half of next year. The device will probably be equipped with Snapdragon 730 or Snapdragon 765G chipsets, paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage memory. The color options will include Black, White and maybe a Purple or Orange hue like the Pixel 4.
We previously reported that the Pixel 4a would arrive in India, unlike the Pixel 4 lineup. We say that because the Pixel 4a will likely not arrive with the Soli chipset, which was the sole reason why the Pixel 4 couldn't come to India. Regarding prices, the handset could be priced at the same amount as its predecessor Pixel 3a. To recall, the latter was priced at Rs 39,999 while the Pixel 3a XL cost Rs 44,999. So if Pixel 4a ever comes to India, Google may ask for roughly the same amount.
