Although using the stock Android OS, Google's Pixel smartphones often have some issues during use. Not only the Pixel 3, the new Pixel 3A and 3A XL smartphones launched earlier this month are no exception.
Recently, some users have begun to complain that their Pixel 3A and 3A XL are randomly powered off. This issue often happens randomly at night when not in use, even throughout the day for some other users.
When the problem occurs, the screen of the device will not simply turn on by clicking the power button once. Instead, the user will be required to hold down the power button for 30 seconds to restart the device. Once completed, they can continue using the phone until it continues to turn itself off again.
At present, it is still unclear the cause of the problem. Some users have tried to check whether third-party applications caused this problem, but even if they switch to "Safe mode", the Pixel 3A and 3A XL are still suddenly powered off. So far, Google has not given an official response to this issue.
To recall, the Pixel 3A and 3A XL were unveiled at the beginning of this month. The Pixel 3A sports a 5.6-inch OLED screen with FHD+ resolution. Meanwhile, the 3A XL comes with a bigger 6-inch OLED screen with same resolution. A notable difference between two smartphones is that the Pixel 3A is backed with a 3,000mAh cell while the 3A XL features a 3,700mAh cell.
The highlight of both devices is their Pixel camera with the incredible Night Sight mode, which offers quality images in low-light condition. Regarding the hardware, the Pixel 3A XL is powered by a Snapdragon 710 SoC, paired with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage while the smaller 3A comes with a Snapdragon 670 SoC, coupled withGB RAM and 64GB storage. As for the price tag, the Pixel 3A and 3A XL has the respective price tag of Rs. 39,999 and Rs. 44,999.
