OPPO Reno5 5G & Reno5 Pro 5G Launched: Price, Specs, Review

After lots of leaks and rumors, OPPO has just officially launched the Reno5 series in China, which includes the Reno5 5G and the Reno5 Pro 5G. This is considered an upgraded version of the Reno4 5G and Reno4 Pro 5G duo that the company introduced earlier this year.
OPPO Reno5 5G & Reno5 Pro 5G: Price & Availability
The OPPO Reno5 5G and Reno5 Pro 5G will be sold in China from December 18, in three color options: Moonlight Night Black, Aurora Blue, and Starry Dream. In addition, the Pro version is available in a Wish Red color variant as well.

The OPPO Reno5 5G price starts from CNY 2,699 (around Rs. 30,400) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage version, while the more premium 12GB RAM + 256GB storage version is sold for CNY 2,999 (around Rs. 33,700).
The Reno5 Pro 5G also comes in two configuration options - 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, which are respectively sold for CNY 3,399 (around Rs. 38,200) and CNY 3,799 (around Rs. 42,700).
OPPO Reno5 5G & Reno5 Pro 5G: Specifications & Features
The OPPO Reno5 5G is equipped with a 6.43-inch flat OLED display, while the Reno5 Pro 5G has a larger 6.55-inch OLED display with curved edges. The screens of both phones have Full-HD+ resolution, a 20:9 aspect ratio, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. In addition, they also have a fingerprint sensor below the screen.

Inside, the Reno5 5G draws the hardware power from Qualcomm's Snapdragon 765G processor, while the Reno5 Pro 5G gets a Dimensity 1000+ chip from MediaTek. They both have up to 12GB LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB UFS 2.1 internal storage but do not have a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
Moving to the back, the Reno5 5G and Reno5 Pro 5G have identical rear cameras, including a 64MP Sony IMX686 main sensor with f / 1.7 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. . In addition, the selfie cameras of these two phones also have a resolution of 32MP.

The Reno5 5G comes with a 4,300mAh battery, while the Reno5 Pro 5G has a slightly larger 4,350mAh battery. Both devices support 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast charging via USB-C port, run Android 11 with ColorOS 11.1 interface, support dual SIM, and have a 3.5mm headphone jack. Finally, the Pro version has support for NFC and Wi-Fi 6.
