OPPO is expected to announce its next high-end lineup under the Reno brand soon. The OPPO Reno5 series was previously said to include three 5G models. Later, details about a 4G model emerged online as it visited multiple certification bodies. It makes sense as 5G network is only available in a limited number of countries, so OPPO is speculated to launch a 4G version to markets that are yet to have 5G.
And now, Twitter user ‘TheLeaks’ has revealed the OPPO Reno5 4G key specifications. According to ‘TheLeaks’, the handset will feature the Snapdragon 720G chipset, a 6.43-inch Full-HD+ display, and 50W fast charging technology. It could also come with the punch-hole style like the three 5G versions. In comparison, the Reno5 5G was said to feature the Snapdragon 765G SoC, 65W fast charging solution, and 64MP quad rear cameras.
Next, the 6.43-inch AMOLED display of the Reno5 4G is tipped to feature a 90Hz refresh rate. On the side, OPPO will reportedly use plastic for the phone’s frame and back panel. On the camera department, it also rocks a quad-camera system just like the Reno5 5G. Its setup will include a 64MP main sensor, two 2MP lenses, and an 8MP sensor. It is also said to get a 44MP camera on the front and a 4,310 mAh battery under the hood.
In addition, another leak by Chun is also in line with the leak and claims that the Reno5 4G will be similar to the Realme 7 Pro, except for the 44MP selfie camera, the 50W fast-charging technology, and a different color scheme. These are all we know about the Reno5 4G for now. Its 5G siblings will be announced in China on December 10, so we might get new details soon.
