OPPO Reno 5G Variant and Lamborghini Edition With Dynamic AMOLED Display
A few days ago, Brian Shen, OPPO’s Vice President, posted some photo samples taken by the Reno cameras. The samples show the capacity of the 48MP camera and the 10x optical zoom of the flagship.
Recently, other new samples have appeared online with a focus on architecture and the extremely important zoom camera skills.
It is good to know that these samples show the full photographs from zoom camera instead of a cut-out like samples appeared a few days ago. However, the photos have been scaled down to 1080p (except for the last two).
According to a post on Weibo, the OPPO Reno will come with a 48MP Sony IMX586 rear camera behind a lens certified by Schneider with f/2.4 and f1.5 apertures, which is identical to the R17 Pro.
And the device also sports a 120-degree ultra-wide secondary camera with the 10x optical zoom with 16mm - 16mm (equivalent to 35mm) focal lengths.
In terms of the specifications, the Reno is said to come with a battery with a capacity of 4,065mAh with the 50W Super VOOC 4.0 fast charging standard. Accordingly, the smartphone can be fully charged within only 40 minutes. Besides, the device’s charger is certified by TUV for safety for use.
In addition, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC will power the device. Also, the smartphone will come in various variants: 8GB RAM + 256GB storage and 10GB RAM + 256GB storage. All variants have 256GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage.
According to the report, the Reno will have a 5G variant integrated a Qualcomm Snapdragon X50 LTE modem and a bump in the battery capacity to 5,000mAh. Also, this variant will come with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.
Additionally, there is also a Reno Lamborghini edition with 512GB of UFS 3.0 internal storage. This device will have 12GB RAM and a battery with a capacity of 5,000mAh.
Interestingly, the smartphone will come with an x-axis motor instead of z-axis, which will make its vibration feel more like a physical button.
In addition, the phone will sport a Dynamic AMOLED display with support for HDR10+ and 1080p+ resolution. Also, the handset is expected to have an on-screen fingerprint sensor. It is expected to be an interesting smartphone if these specs turn into reality.
Let’s take a look at the price table below:
| Model | Memory | Price (China) | Indian Price (estimated) |
| Oppo Reno | 8GB RAM/256GB storage | RMB 5,000 | Rs. 51,300 |
| 10GB RAM/256GB storage | RMB 5,500 | Rs. 56,600 | |
| 12GB RAM/256GB storage | RMB 7,000 | Rs. 71,900 | |
| Oppo Reno Lamborghini | 12GB RAM/512GB storage | RMB 10,000 | Rs. 1,02,700 |
| Oppo Reno Light Deluxe | 8GB RAM/128GB storage | RMB 3,700 | Rs. 38,000 |
| 8GB RAM/256GB storage | RMB 4,000 | Rs. 41,000 |
Furthermore, Oppo is equipping the Oppo Reno smartphone with Breeno, an AI digital assistant.
Also, the handset will come with both image and voice recognition. And the phone can work as your smart home’s brains. Therefore, it is expected to have all the qualifications of a digital assistant although that does not mean the current market needs another one of those.
