The Oppo Reno 3 Pro 5G with 7.7mm thickness is claimed to be the slimmest smartphone in the world that has dual-mode 5G.

The Oppo Reno 3 5G is set to launch next month and now the brand has started teasing the Reno 3 Pro 5G smartphone. Oppo’s VP Brian Shen has just teased the design of the Reno 3 Pro 5G via a render of a part of the handset. You can see on the render a curved display with a thin bezel at the top. Even though the phone seems to carry a notch-free display, it might feature a punch hole at the top left side, which isn’t shown on the teaser photo. Shen also claims that the handset will have a glass body and it will only be 7.7mm thick.

The company’s VP believes that the Reno 3 Pro 5G might be the thinnest smartphone in the world with dual-mode 5G in its segment. The render of the phone also shows that it will carry a power button on its right side, which is blue-accented. The specs of the handset are still unknown, but both of the Reno 3 5G and 3 Pro 5G are tipped to come with ColorOS 7 pre-loaded. Moreover, it was also confirmed to carry a 4,025mAh battery by Shen.

Even though we don’t know much about the Pro model’s specs, we have got quite a few details about the vanilla Reno 3 5G. It is tipped to come with a Snapdragon 735 chipset, which will be announced soon. It will be available in two memory configurations - 8GB RAM / 128GB UFS 2.1 storage and 8GB RAM / 256GB UFS 2.1 storage. On the front, there will likely be a 6.5-inch AMOLED panel that supports FHD+ resolution. For security, you can expect to see an in-display fingerprint reader on this phone.

On the rear, it might carry a quad-camera cluster, comprising of a 60MP main sensor, a 13MP shooter, a 2MP sensor, and an 8MP lens. Upfront, it might be equipped with a 32MP shooter.

Price of the Reno 3 5G is said to start at CNY 3,299 (roughly Rs. 33,600)  for the variant with 8GB RAM / 128gB of storage and CNY 3,599 (roughly Rs. 36,600) for the model with 8GB RAM / 256GB storage.
