OPPO Reno 3 5G & Reno 3 Pro 5G Price Leaked; Pro Model Spotted On Geekbench

Prices of the upcoming Oppo Reno 3 5G and Oppo Reno 3 Pro 5G were leaked this week along with key specs of the Pro version ahead of their official release in China on 26 December. The price and the Geekbench benchmark scores are in line with previous reports, which suggest that the two smartphones with 5G connectivity will be positioned in the mid-range segment. As per the recent leaks, the Reno 3 5G will likely be priced at Rs. 32,500, whereas the Reno 3 Pro 5G’s price will be around Rs. 38,500. In addition, the key specs of the Reno 3 Pro 5G have also revealed thanks to the Geekbench listing.

According to the Geekbench listing, the Oppo Reno 3 Pro 5G with the codename Oppo PCRM00 got 2,847 points and 7,686 points in the single-core test and multi-core test, respectively. It is also listed to run on Android 10. It is revealed to get power from an octa-core Qualcomm processor clocked at 1.8GHz, paired with 8GB RAM. It was tipped to carry the new Snapdragon 765G chipset and it seems to match with this new leak.
Oppo Reno 3 5G & Reno 3 Pro 5G: Expected Price & Specifications
Moving to their prices, the Reno 3 5G is said to carry a price of CNY 3,199 (roughly Rs. 32,500) for the variant with 8GB RAM / 128GB storage and CNY 3,599 (around Rs. 36,500) for the 12GB RAM / 256GB storage model. Meanwhile, the Reno 3 Pro 5G is said to come with a price of CNY 3,699 (around Rs. 38,500) and CNY 4,199 (around Rs. 42,600) for the same variants as the Reno 3 5G.

Unlike its sibling, the Reno 3 5G is said to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 1000L chipset. On the front, both phones will have a 6.4-inch display, but only the Pro model’s display has a 90Hz refresh rate. Other key specs of the Reno 3 5G and Reno 3 Pro 5G include a 32MP selfie camera, a 4,025 mAh battery, and 30W fast charging technology. While the camera setup in the vanilla version is tipped to carry 48MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2 MP sensors, the Pro version has a 64MP primary camera and also 8MP + 2MP + 2MP sensors. The Oppo Reno 3 series is said to be the first smartphones in the series to come with a hole-punch display, ending the shark-fin pop-up camera design on the Reno-branded smartphone.
