The upcoming Oppo Reno 2 series is expected to launch in the upcoming week. The lineup will likely include three smartphones, one of which will be the Oppo Reno 2F. Now, the Reno 2F is said to be the replacement to the Oppo F series. According to the new leak, the forthcoming Reno 2F will be powered by a Snapdragon 710 SoC and it will carry a price tag of below Rs. 20,000 for the Indian market.
We have already heard quite a lot of rumors about the upcoming Reno 2F and 2Z with a quad camera setup alongside the Reno 2. The interesting thing is that the brand already confirmed the specs of the Reno 2. The phone will come with a 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED Panoramic panel with a screen-to-body ratio of 93.1 and an aspect ratio of 20:9. Powering the phone will be the Snapdragon 730G, aided by 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. For better gaming experience, the company equips it with HDR10 Gaming support, anti-cheat extensions, Game Assistant, and more. Security-wise, it will feature a 3rd-gen on-screen fingerprint scanner. The rear panel will be protected by a layer of Gorilla Glass 5, while the front is stronger with Gorilla Glass 6.
The Reno 2 will be fueled by a 4,000 mAh battery with support for VOOC 3.0 (20W) and a USB-C port. Luminous Black and Ocean Blue are the two color variants available for the phone. Even though the brand doesn’t officially reveal the Oppo Reno 2’s camera details, we have learned from the TENAA listing that the handset will sport a quad camera setup, including a 48MP + 2MP + 8MP + 13MP sensors.
The Oppo Reno 2F, 2Z, and Reno 2 will make their debut tomorrow, so we don’t need to wait for long to know more about the upcoming three phones.
