Oppo K3 finally makes its way to the Indian market as the direct successor to the Oppo K1 that launched earlier in the year. The Oppo K3 is among the most affordable smartphones with an on-screen fingerprint reader, though it is still launched in the mid-range segment with a pop-up camera, a full-screen display, a Snapdragon 710 SoC, and dual rear cameras. It was already made its first appearance in China back in May. In the Indian market, it will take on the likes of Realme X and Redmi K20, both of which were announced in the country recently.

OPPO K3: Price
The handset’s price starts from Rs. 16,990 for the entry-level option with 6GB oF RAM / 64GB of storage. The top-end model with 8GB of RAM / 128GB of storage is retailed at Rs. 19,990. It will go on sale exclusively via Amazon.in from 12 p.m on 23 July. There are three colour variants of the Oppo K3 - Morning White, Secret Black, and Nebula Purple.
Launch offers include Rs. 1,000 cash back in the form of Amazon PAy balance. In addition, Jio users are eligible to get benefits worth Rs. 7,050. Other offers include no-cost EMIs up to 6 months, up to Rs. 12,000 discount from OYO, Rs. 5,000 Lenskart voucher, and Rs. 1,000 discount for Oppo K3 buyers using Axis Bank credit and debit cards.
OPPO K3: Specifications & Features

As mentioned, the phone features a full-screen display and thin bezels thanks to the pop-up camera design. On the front, it has a 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Performance-wise, there is a Snapdragon 710 octa-core processor ticking at its core with 6/8GB of RAM and 64/128GB of storage.

On the camera front, it has a 16MP main sensor on the rear, paired with a 2MP depth sensor. For taking selfies, it is packed with a 16MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture. In terms of software, it comes with ColorOS 6.0 preloaded, which is based on Android 9.0 Pie. Fueling the entire setup is a 3,765 mAh battery with support for VOOC 3.0 fast charging solution.
