Oppo is expected to announce the Oppo K3 on 23 May with a similar rear design to the Oppo Reno. However, it will not have a shark-fin pop-up selfie camera like the Oppo Reno series, but Oppo will only equip it with a regular pop-up selfie camera that we have seen on the Oppo F11 Pro. Its hands-in pictures have already been leaked on Twitter and the Chinese phone maker also posted a few specifications of the device on its Weibo page in the meantime. The upcoming phone will have support for Oppo’s VOOC 3.0 fast-charge tech and a decent 3,765mAh battery.
The new leak is pretty much in line with what we have already known - OLED display with support for Always-On Display. The unit on the hands-on photos has a Blue-Violet rear panel that might be Gorilla Glass or a transparent polycarbonate panel. Its primary shooter is expected to feature an f/1.7 lens, but the camera details are still under wraps. We can also see that the phone boots Oppo’s ColorOS v6.0. However, because it will firstly launch in the company’s home market China so the first units won’t come with Google services.
Other specifications include a 6.5-inch display with a fingerprint reader embedded under the screen. Powering the phone is a mid-range Snapdragon 710 SoC under the hood. As for the price, it could come with a price tag of lower than RMB 1,899, which might be RMB 1,799 at the highest for the base variant. Oppo is also said to offer an 8GB of RAM + 256GB of internal storage, but we highly doubt that this variant will have an attractive price. You won’t have to wait for long as it will be unveiled tomorrow with every detail unwrapped. Stay tuned, we will keep you updated.
