Smartphone brands are competing in the camera department with a slew of offers including macro lens, depth, and telephoto cameras. But have you ever thought of a microscope camera?
Oppo Find X3 Pro is touted to have a microlens sensor capable of 60x zoom, promise to give users some very interesting up-close shots.
While you should always take brands' professionally taken shots with a pinch of salt, some third parties have had their hands on the new Oppo Find X3 Pro and what they share is mind-blowing.
While the camera is only 3MP, unlike other nearly useless 2MP sensors on budget phones, it seems enough for a decent close-up.
The Oppo Find X3 Pro appears to have a very standard specs sheet for a smartphone releasing in 2021: 6.7-inch OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, resolution of 3216×1440, RAM of 12GB, onboard storage of 256GB, in-display fingerprint scanner, a 4500 mAh battery, a Snapdragon 888 SoC.
The phone can be charged via the 65W wired charger. It is also capable of 30W wireless charging. The Oppo Find X3 Pro runs on Color OS on top of Android 11.
What draws attention here is the design of the camera bump. Instead of just a module with vertical sides, the glass on the back of the phone slopes up onto the bump. According to Oppo, it took around 40 hours to make the glass panel.
The phone is set to come to Europe on March 30 for a price of €1,149.
