OPPO originally planned to introduce the OPPO Find X2 at the MWC 2020 event in Barcelona at the end of this month. However, the brand announced to reschedule the event due to MWC 2020 cancelation and the release date wasn’t specified at that time. Now, a fresh report by Playfuldroid suggests that the Chinese company will reportedly announce the phone on 6 March. We might also see the introduction of OPPO's first smartphone called OPPO Watch at the same event.

The OPPO Find X2 is the direct successor to the OPPO Find X and it is expected to come with a futuristic design just like its predecessor. To recall, the Find X was one of the first phones to have a sliding camera mechanism, helping it to get a full-screen display. That is why the OPPO Find X2 has got a lot of attention all over the world.
Not just the futuristic design, but the OPPO Find X was also equipped with top-notch specifications. Therefore, the OPPO Find X2 is expected to receive the same treatment with a flagship-level hardware configuration.

Recently, the handset was spotted on a listing by OPPO’s official account at a major online retailer. The listing revealed nearly full specs of the Find X2. On the front, the phone was listed to carry a 6.5-inch OLED panel with 2K resolution, Gorilla Glass 6 layer, and 120Hz refresh rate. It will be driven by a Snapdragon 865 SoC alongside 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage. Fueling the phone will be a 4,065 mAh battery, support OPPO’s fast charging technology.
At the back, the rear camera setup includes a 48MP main sensor and 13MP + 8MP sensors with unknown function. However, we believe that one of them should be an ultra-wide-angle lens. The primary camera is said to support video recording at 2160p @ 30fps as well as slow-mo videos at 720p @ 960fps and 1080p @ 240fps. Camera features include Ultra-wide, Auto Focus, 3D Face ID, HDR, Panorama, Beautify, Selfie AI Beauty, and AR Stickers. For selfies, it will get a 32MP shooter on the front.

The 6 March launch date of the OPPO Find X2 is from a leak, so we still recommend you to take it with a pinch of salt. There are still multiple interesting smartphones coming to India next week that you can take a look at, such as Realme X50 Pro & Samsung Galaxy M31 (25 February) and iQOO 3 (26 February).
