It has been around 6 months since Oppo released the Oppo F9 Pro in August 2018. And it appears that the successor to the F9 Pro is in the making. A new phone with the codename of Oppo CPH1969 has just been spotted getting certified on the NBTC (National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission) in Thailand. The listing reveals some key details of this upcoming handset, including connectivity options and the model number.

Oppo F9 Pro
The successor to the Oppo F9 Pro with the model number CPH1969 might not be called F10 Pro, but it is tipped to launch under the name of Oppo F11 Pro. The Oppo device will have GSM/WCDMA/LTE connectivity options. The listing on NBTV doesn’t reveal any more specs, but the handset is expected to come with a hole-punch display.
Oppo is preparing for the upcoming MWC 2019 in Barcelona where the Chinese company will likely be showcasing its new camera technology that is claimed to enable the phone to use the 10X hybrid optical zoom while capturing photos.

According to rumors and leaks, the upcoming F11 Pro will sport a pill-shaped hole on the top right corner of the display, and it will accommodate a dual selfie camera system. This new design will allow the phone to come with a notch-less display. Hence, it seems like Oppo will follow the footstep of other major phone makers like Samsung with the Galaxy A8s, Honor with the View 20, and Huawei with the Nova 4.
Oppo F11 Pro: Expected specifications & features
The Oppo F9 Pro’s successor is tipped to sport a 6.5-inch display with an in-display fingerprint scanner. It may also come packed with the latest Qualcomm’s flagship, Snapdragon 855 processor, coupled with either 6GB RAM or 8GB RAM.
In the camera department, the Oppo F11 Pro may have a triple camera setup on the rear. As mentioned, the phone will come with a display hole on the front for a dual selfie camera setup, including a 25MP sensor and a 12MP sensor.
It is tipped to come with a 4,500 mAh battery with support for Super VOOC fast charging tech.
