OPPO has just launched the OPPO A91 in the Chinese market. It is a mid-range smartphone with many interesting features, good hardware configuration, and an affordable price. It gets a 6.4" Full-HD+ AMOLED panel, 30W fast charging solution, and quad rear cameras as highlights.
Oppo A91: Price & Availability
The Oppo A91 costs CNY 1,999 (around Rs. 20,300) for its single variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage. You can now pre-order the phone in China in multiple color variants such as Blue, Black, and Red.
The official sale of the Oppo A91 will start from 26 December in the country. The company hasn’t specified when it brings the device to other markets.
Oppo A91: Specifications & Features
The phone has a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen with Full-HD + resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The screen has eye protection, a screen-to-body ratio of 90.7 percent, and a 3rd-gen in-display fingerprint sensor.
The OPPO A91 gets power from an octa-core Helio P70 chipset with 8 GB of RAM, 128 GB of internal storage, which supports expansion via a microSD card slot. It supports VOOC 4.0 30W fast charging technology, which the company claims to charge the phone’s 4,025mAh battery from 0 to 50 percent in 30 minutes. It runs on Android 9 Pie out of the box with ColorOS 6.1 interface. In addition, to enhance the gaming experience, the smartphone also has Game Boost 2.0 mode.
The back of the device houses a quad-rear camera system, consisting of a 48 MP main sensor, an 8 MP ultra-wide camera, a 2 MP macro lens, and a 2 MP depth sensor. On the front, the OPPO A91 has a 16 MP selfie camera located in the water-drop notch.
To take better selfies, OPPO A91 offers users Portrait HDR feature to enhance the backlight when shooting with the front camera. Connectivity options include dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
