Oppo A9 2020 and Oppo A5 2020 are two new mid-range smartphones Oppo India announces in the country. These two phones arrive as direct successors to the Oppo A5 and Oppo A9 and they are already available for sale via Amazon.in. Both of them feature a quad rear camera setup, run on ColorOS 6.0.1 at launch, and pack a beefy 5,000 mAh battery under the hood.

The Oppo A5 2020 price in India is Rs. 13,990 for its sole memory configuration with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The A5 2020 can be purchased on Amazon India.

It is up for grabs in two hues - Space Purple and Marine. Just like the A5 2020, the A9 2020 is also available for sale via Amazon India.

The two mid-range smartphones share quite a few similarities. For example, these two phones flaunt a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a dewdrop notch at the top to house a selfie camera. Under the hood, they both get power from a massive 5,000 mAh battery, which can deliver a full-day battery life. On the rear, they both get a fingerprint reader mounted on an oval-shape module. Similarly, their camera setup both consist of four sensors stacked vertically. For processing power, Oppo goes for a Snapdragon 665 SoC on both phones. However, the A9 2020 packs up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, while the A5 2020 only has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. You can use a microSD card to expand their storage.
The camera department is where the two differ. Even though they both sport a vertically-placed quad rear camera cluster, their camera specifications are different. On the A9 2020, its rear cameras include a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP monochrome sensor.
