Oppo A7 vs Vivo Y95 Launched At Rs. 16,990: Which One is Worth The Price

There are many similarities between the Oppo A7 and Vivo Y95. Both phones come with 6.2-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 720x1520 pixels. They both feature with a 13 MP primary sensor and a 2 MP secondary sensor. In addition, both also have a microSD card slot for up to another 256GB of storage. Also, both of them feature a bezel-less display as well as a rear fingerprint sensor.

A brief comparison between the two new handsets:
1. Operating System and Specification
Oppo A7 is powered by a Snapdragon 450 SoC compared to Vivo Y95 which only comes with a Snapdragon 439 SoC. Oppo A7 runs on ColorOS 5.2 based on Android 8.1 Oreo while Vivo Y95 ships with Funtouch OS 4.5 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. Both Oppo and Vivo handsets offer a 4GB of RAM/64GB of storage variant and have an expandable option (256GB maximum).
2. Camera
Both of them have a 13MP + 2MP dual rear camera. However, the Oppo A7 has a single 16MP sensor on the front while the Vivo Y95 comes with a 20MP sensor on the front. With the Oppo A7, you will get lots of features such as PDAF, HDR, depth sensor, Panorama and so on. Especially, the Oppo A7 is capable of recording at a maximum resolution of 1080p at 30 fps. On the other hand, the Vivo Y95 offers AI-enhanced features like detect your age, gender, skin tone, skin texture.
3. Display
Both devices come with a 6.2-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 720x1520 pixels.
4. Battery life
Both Oppo A7 and Vivo Y95 are powered by a large battery capacity. Vivo Y95 comes with a 4030 mAh battery. In comparison, the Oppo A7's battery life is slightly bigger than the Vivo's handset, staying at 4,230 mAh.
5. Price and Variant
The 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage variants of the Oppo A7 and Vivo Y95 option are set at the same price of Rs. 16,990.
