OPPO A31 Arrives In India With Helio P35 SoC & Triple Rear Cameras

OPPO A31 has finally made its debut in India after being listed on OPPO India’s website. The handset was first released in Indonesia early this month. It features a 3D gradient design on the rear along with a triple camera cluster. Other key features of the phone include rear-mounted fingerprint reader, water-drop notch, and Helio P35 chipset.

OPPO A31: Price in India & Availability

The OPPO A31 price in India is Rs. 11,490 for the base variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The price goes up to Rs. 13,990 if you want to get the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model. The handset will be up for sales via offline stores across the country in Mystery Black and Fantasy White.

The OPPO A31 comes with a 6.5-inch display that offers HD+ (1,600 x 720p) resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio; and covers 83 percent of the handset’s front panel. At the helm, there is an Helio P35 octa-core chipset, paired with a PowerVR GE8320 GPU. As mentioned, there are two memory configurations of the OPPO A31 - 4GB RAM / 64GB storage and 6GB RAM / 128GB storage. You can further expand its storage with a microSD card. It is pre-installed with Android 9 Pie-based ColorOS 6.1 to take care of the software side of things. 

Camera-wise, there are three cameras at the back of the phone and they are stacked vertically at the top left corner. The setup includes a 12MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture + PDAF, a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture for taking portrait shots, and a 2MP dedicated macro camera. Upfront, it gets a single 8MP shooter for video calling and taking selfies. Connectivity-wise, it supports dual-band Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, and 4G network. Finally, it is equipped with a 4,230 mAh with no fast charging support.
