OnePlus Nord "Lite" Spotted On Geekbench With SND690 & 6GB RAM

The OnePlus Nord Lite might a watered-down version of the OnePlus Nord, featuring Snapdragon 690 SoC, 5G, 6GB of RAM, and Android 10.

While many of us are waiting for the OnePlus Nord to come to India on 21st July, a mysterious OnePlus BE2028 smartphone has just spotted on Geekbench. The device is speculated to be a watered-down version of the upcoming OnePlus Nord. The listing shows that the handset will feature a chipset with codename ‘lito’, which is said to belong to the successor of the Snapdragon 765 SoC. However, according to tipster Mukul Sharma, he discovered that the phone will be equipped with an Adreno 619 GPU in the source code of the Geekbench listing and the GPU belongs to the Snapdragon 690 SoC, which was recently released as the first chipset in the Snapdragon 600-series to feature a 5G modem. Therefore, it is more likely that the Nord Lite will have an SND690 chipset instead.

If the OnePlus Nord Lite indeed features the Snapdragon 690, it will certainly be positioned below the OnePlus Nord, which will come with the more powerful Snapdragon 765 SoC. The Nord Lite’s listing on Geekbench also shows that the phone will at least come with a 6GB RAM model and Android 10 at launch. With the setup, its single-core performance on Geekbench is 609 points while 1,728 points is its performance on the multi-core test.

For now, we have no other details recording the OnePlus Nord Lite specs. We are not even sure about the existence of the phone. Therefore, you should take this news with a grain of salt and wait for more details. However, if the phone does exist, it would be an interesting phone as OnePlus has previously confirmed that all of its smartphones in the future will have 5G connectivity and high refresh rate display.
