OnePlus 9 Series Will Include Three Models; Launch Timeline & Specs Leaked

Instead of having two models in a series, OnePlus will reportedly offer three models in the upcoming OnePlus 9 series, expected to launch next year.

OnePlus 9 will be the next flagship series from OnePlus. The lineup was said to launch in March next year, which is earlier than the usual April / May timeline. Now, several reports claim that the OnePlus 9 product line will come with a surprising change and that is the number of models. Instead of two, users will reportedly have three OnePlus 9 models to choose from.
According to the leak, the vanilla version will have LE2110 model number while the Pro version will carry three model numbers, LE2117, LE 2119, and LE2110 (varied between different markets). There is another version with the model number LE2127, which is speculated to be the third one in the series.

Apart from the above leak, the specifications of the OnePlus 9 series have also been tipped on a Weibo post. The smartphones are said to feature the upcoming 5nm Snapdragon 875 chipset, which is expected to arrive next month. They will also get a 144Hz display, 65W fast charging support, Android 11, and IP68 rating. 5G support is also expected for all three models along with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 6, USB-C port, and GPS. We should get more details when the launch is getting closer.
On a separate note, OnePlus has just opened its world’s largest Experience Store in Hyderabad. The store is called OnePlus Nizam Palace and is located in Himayat Nagar. It has dedicated sections for accessories, wireless earbuds, and smartphones. You can also check out the brand’s newly-released smart TVs there as well. Aside from the one in Hyderabad, the Chinese company has also launched multiple stores in Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, and New Delhi.
