OnePlus introduced a new mid-range smartphone called OnePlus Nord just last week, but it seems to be now working on new additions to its flagship series. In the last couple of years, the Chinese brand usually releases up to two models in the T series around October - November, and we might see it happen again this year.

An OnePlus smartphone has just made its appearance on Geekbench with the model number KB2001. The device is speculated to be either the OnePlus 8T or 8T Pro. According to the listing, the phone runs on Android 11, which is still unreleased at the moment. However, that could make sense if OnePlus still sticks to the same timeline since Android 11 should definitely be released by then.
In the single-core test, the mysterious OnePlus phone scored 912 points while 3,288 points is its score in the multi-core test. These scores are in line with the performance we would expect from a smartphone with the Snapdragon 865 SoC. We are not sure whether OnePlus will use the newer Snapdragon 865 Plus SoC on the upcoming OnePlus 8T or not. In most of the cases, the T models have never got significant upgrades over the non-T models. However, there is a chance that the Chinese phone maker will go for a new strategy on the upcoming series, so stay tuned, we will keep you updated.
