OnePlus 7T Pro Goes Official in India Alongside OnePlus 7T McLaren Edition

OnePlus 7T Pro is finally been announced at a launch event in India alongside a special McLaren Edition.

The OnePlus 7T Pro was officially introduced at a launch event in the UK. The device arrives as a direct successor to the OnePlus 7 Pro, which launched earlier in the year. The OnePlus 7 Pro comes with similar features and specs to its predecessor aside from the processor, fast charging solution, slightly larger display, and laser autofocus. The handset features a pop-up selfie camera, a curved Fluid AMOLED panel, a triple rear camera setup, and a Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset. It is fueled by a 4,085 mAh cell, up from the 4,000 mAh unit.

OnePlus 7T Pro: Price
The price of the OnePlus 7T Pro is Rs. 53,999, and it is available in a single Haze Blue color and a sole memory configuration with 8GB of RAM + 256GB of storage. If you are interested, you can purchase one in India at 12 p.m on 11 October via the brand’s stores in 8 cities. The device will also go on open sale from a day later via OnePlus India, OnePlus’ offline stores, and Amazon India.
Launch offers include Rs. 3,000 discount on transactions with HDFC Bank credit card on 12 October via OnePlus India and offline stores. Rs. 1,750 discount is available for Amazon users who purchase the device with a credit card or debit card of ICICI Bank or Rs. 1,500 for other banks’ credit and debit cards. OnePlus 7 Pro buyers can also get a discount of up to Rs. 3,000 on flight tickets on Amazon Pay. Other launch offers are double data for Airtel customers on select prepaid recharges, accessories voucher on OnePlus.in that worth Rs. 5,000, and no-cost EMIs up to 6 months in several channels.
Aside from the standard OnePlus 7T Pro, the brand also announced a special edition called OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition. It is retailed at Rs. 58,999 in a sole variant with 12GB of RAM + 256GB of storage. Interest users can pre-order the device from today with an Rs. 5,000 deposit. And they will get the phone on 18 October along with a free Type-C Bullets earphone. This special edition will be available for sale at 12 p.m on 5 November via both offline and online channels.
OnePlus 7T Pro: Specifications

The handset comes with a 6.67-inch QHD+ Fluid AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 90Hz with a notch-free design thanks to the pop-up selfie camera. The display also supports HDR10+ and is protected by 3D Corning Gorilla Glass. As mentioned, powering the phone is a Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC, which is claimed to be slightly more powerful than the Snapdragon 855 chipset. It is only available in one configuration with 8GB RAM + 256GB of UFS 3.0 storage.

For photography, it has a triple camera system at the back that comprises of a 48MP Sony IMX586 primary sensor with an f/1.6 lens, EIS, and OIS; an 8MP telephoto unit with an f/2.4 lens and IOS; and a 16MP ultra-wide camera with an f/2.2 lens and 117-degree FOV. The device also features macro mode that can turn the wide-angle lens into a macro one. It also supports laser focus that is said to latch the focus on a subject much faster. Its cameras also support PDAF, 3X optical zoom, video recording up to 4K resolution at 30 or 60 fps, time-lapse, portrait mode, super slow-mo, and more. On the front, there is a 16MP sensor for selfies and video chat. For security, users can protect the phone with an in-display fingerprint and face recognition system.
OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition: Specifications

As mentioned, the OnePlus 7T Pro is also available in a special McLaren Edition. This new model has 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. As for design, it has orange accents on the bottom, two edges, the outline of the camera module, and the Alert Slider. On the rear panel, it comes with a carbon fiber finish. Not just that, the UI is also customized with orange accents as well. Other than that, the specifications are the same between the standard and the McLaren editions. Finally, the brand is offering a custom-made case with Alcantara fabric, which is used in several McLaren cars.
