OnePlus 7 Pro will be released on the 14th of May, but prior to its official launch, there have been some buzzes stirring the public curiosity. With the Bazaar’s newest issues’ covers are photos shot by the phone, the message is clear; its cameras are of top-notch quality.
These images feature Jameela Jamil, a British model, and actress, and the venue is in Chicago. She asked the crew not to retouch or airbrush the pictures so what we see on the magazine covers are what the OnePlus smartphone produced.

According to Nonita Kalra, Bazaar’s editor, the combination of OnePlus 7 Pro’s camera and the magazine is perfect:

The crew said that they were taken aback by the phone’s ability to shoot RAW images without connecting to a computer or an app. However, they shared that what is best was not the pictures but the videos made by OnePlus 7 Pro, which capture behind-the-scene moments.

In a separate event, the company has leaked some of the most prominent specs on its upcoming phone including a 3x zoom lens, which only appears on the OnePlus 7 Pro but not on the OnePlus 6T and a 3-lens arrangement.
The setup was announced in an advertisement in the US on The New York Times, and from the ad, there will be an addition pop-up selfie camera and a coo0ling mechanism in the form of a copper heat pipe.

We have not had anything more on the hardware of the phone, but from recent releases, we have enough reasons to believe that the OnePlus 7 Pro will have a significant upgrade in comparison with the OnePlus 6T. According to Wired, the 3x zoom capacity is excellent, and the phone performs well in a darker environment. This ability was what Szymon Kopec, OnePlus’s product manager demonstrated on Twitter on Monday. This feature is confirmed by the company’s CEO Pete Lau, who said that OnePlus’s engineers focused a lot on the camera arrangement.

Rumor has it that the OnePlus 7 Pro will feature one 48-megapixel sensor made by Sony as a primary camera. The 3x zoom lens is with the 8MP snapper, and the 16MP sensor can support wide-angle shots. Along with the Pro version with all the bells and whistles, the company will also introduce the OnePlus seven lineup on the same day. The latter is believed to feature a dual camera setup.

Apart from the camera setup that fit for a magazine’s cover, another OnePlus 7 Pro’s top selling points are the screen. The high resolution is for sure, and the refresh rate of 90Hz is another plus. These features will translate to a smooth user experience, which the company wants us to remember so bad that it repeated this feature every time the upcoming phone was mentioned.
The OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro will share some critical specs like running on Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, RAM of a minimum 6 GB, and onboard storage of 128 GB, along with things like ultra-fast charging and in-screen fingerprint sensor.
India, as well as London, New York, and Bengaluru, will see the launch of both OnePlus smartphones on the 14th of May.
