On 19 March, HMD Global announced several new smartphones, ranging from upper mid-range to budget and feature phone segments. The new phones include the Nokia 8.3 5G, Nokia 5.3, Nokia 5.3, and feature phone Nokia 5310. It seems like less than a week from the launch, the smartphones are now making their ways to other markets as the Nokia 5310 and Nokia 5.3 have been listed on the official website of Nokia India. That could indicate that their launch in India should not be too far away.
Nokia 5.3: Specifications & Price
The Nokia 5.3 comes with a 6.5-inch display of HD+ resolution, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a water-drop notch at the top. It is driven by a Snapdragon 665 SoC, paired with 3/4/6GB of RAM and 32/64/128GB of storage. Under the hood, it is backed by a beefy 4,000 mAh battery with support for the normal 10W charging standard. In terms of software, it comes preloaded with the latest Android 10 out of the box.
At the back, its circular camera module includes a 13MP primary camera, a 5MP ultra-wide camera, a 2MP depth-sensing camera, and a 2MP macro camera while the front-facing camera gets 8MP resolution. Other notable features include a dedicated button for Google Assistant, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, Wi-Fi, USB-C, GPS, headphone jack, Bluetooth, and dual 4G VoLTE.
The Nokia 5.3 price is 189 EURO (roughly Rs. 15,000) in European markets.
Nokia 5310: Specifications & Features
The Nokia 5310 is a feature phone, carrying a 2.4” colour display. It comes with 16MP internal storage and 8MP RAM. Don’t worry about its teeny-tiny storage as you can expand that using a microSD card. Fueling the phone is a 1,200 mAh battery. Other features include VGA camera at the back with flash, Nokia 30+ series operating software, dedicated buttons for controlling music player, FM Radio, 3G, and 4G connectivity.
The Nokia 5310 price is set at $42, which is equivalent to around Rs. 3,100, so its Indian price should be around that mark.
