The Samsung Galaxy M31 is all set to launch on 25 February. The launch event is five days away and key specs of the phone have already been revealed by Samsung’s promotional pages and Amazon India. Now, a new set of renders and full specs of the phone have been shared online.
The new leak is shared by tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore (@Sudhanshu1414) on his Twitter page. According to the tweet, the upcoming Galaxy M31 will come with an Exynos 9611 SoC, which is the same chipset on the Galaxy M30s. Paired with it will be 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. There is also a dedicated microSD card slot if users want to expand the storage (up to 512GB).
On the front, the phone will flaunt a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED panel with Infinity-U design and Full-HD+ resolution. Its rear camera setup will include a total of four cameras, which are a 64MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP wide-angle shooter with f/2.2 aperture, a 5MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture, and a 5MP depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture. For selfies, it gets a 32MP shooter housed on the water-drop notch on the front.
Fueling the phone will be a monstrous 6,000 mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging standard. The phone measures 159.2 x75.1 x 8.9mm and weighs 191 grams.
Moving to the renders, they show that the handset will be available in at least three colour options - Black, Blue, and Red. in addition, the renders also show that the phone will have a rectangular camera module just like the Galaxy S20, Galaxy A51, and Galaxy A71. Next to the camera setup is a fingerprint sensor for security.
It seems like the Galaxy M31 will be a slightly upgraded model of the Galaxy M30s with a few improvements.
