Motorola is expected to reveal its Razr foldable phone on November 13, and just days ahead of the announcement, leaks still came out around the phone. On Thursday, new images shared online could reveal what the upcoming foldable handset looks like.
Leaker Evan Blass was the one to share these images via his private account on Twitter. As in the first picture, you can see clearly the appearance of the Motorola Razr. It appears that the Razr will have a similar design compared with the original lineup, which includes a “chin” looking big enough to hold a fingerprint sensor. Meanwhile, there weren’t any images showing the device at its unfolded stage. However, the images hinted at the screen reflection on what used to be the keypad.
In the second image, on the other hand, you can see that a smaller screen on the outside of the folded phone displays a message notification.
And in the following images, you will see that the front screen of the Razr also acts as a viewfinder for taking selfies. You can also have a glimpse at the phone as it’s unfolded.
The phone maker didn’t respond to a comment request.
Following the recently launched foldable phones, including Samsung Galaxy Fold as well as Huawei Mate X, Motorola is now planning a release in late 2019 after the previous plan for a summer launch.
Besides the foldable screen, the handset has been said to be priced at $1,500 and powered by the Snapdragon 710 chipset from Qualcomm. Other specs include 4GB RAM or 6GB RAM, 64GB storage or 128GB storage. In terms of color options, the Razr may come in gold, black, and white, with a 6.4-inch display and a 2,730mAh battery.
