Motorola P40: Design and Specifications
The leaked renders of the Moto P40 suggests that the phone will have a new design, which has already been embraced on recent phones like Huawei Nova 4, Galaxy A8s and Honor View 20.
These new renders also suggest that the display hole will be located on the top left corner of the display for housing the front camera. The Moto P40 will most likely sport a 6.2-inch display with uniform bezels on the top and both of its sides while the bottom bezels will be relatively thicker.

The back of the Moto P40 might be a glass finish. On the back, there seems to be a dual camera system on the top left corner which slightly protrudes. According to a report, the rear camera system will comprise of a 48MP sensor, but its details remain unknown. There is also a dual LED flash near the camera setup. The phone will come with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and a logo of Motorola on it.
There is another logo on the back of the Moto P40, and it is Android One logo which may indicate that the phone will be a part of the Google’s Android One program and that means the phone will be likely to get more timely security and software updates from Google.

The leaked renders also show that the volume rockers and the power button will be located on its right spine while the SIM tray will be on the left. The Moto P40 is seen to feature a speaker grill, a USB-C port, a microphone at the bottom and an audio jack at the top. According to the report, the Moto P40’s dimensions will be 160.1x71.2x8.7mm.
