Motorola is all set to launch an Android One phone called Moto One Vision. Now, a newly leaked press render reveals some key details of this upcoming phone. This phone is also said to come to China as the successor to the Motorola P30, called Motorola P40. The handset has already been featured in quite a lot of leaks and rumors, but this new render will give us a much better look at the phone’s design.
The leaked render, courtesy of TigerMobiles, shows that the upcoming Moto One Vision is going to feature an edge-to-edge and tall display with no notch. The phone will instead feature a hole-punch display similar to the one on the Galaxy S10e. The punch hole will house a selfie camera. It can be seen to come with a slightly thick bottom bezel while the bezel on the top is slightly thinner. At the bottom, there will also be a speaker grill as well as a USB-C port, but the audio jack is nowhere to be seen.
At the rear, it is easy to spot a dual camera setup stacked vertically with a 48MP primary sensor and a single LED flash below the camera module. As usual, it will come with a Motorola branding at the upper half of the rear panel which will also be the place of the fingerprint scanner for security. As a phone in the Android One programme, it also has an Android One branding at the bottom half.
As for the specifications, it is said in a previous leak by XDA Developers to sport a tall display with 21:9 aspect ratio and FHD+ resolution. Powering the phone will be a Samsung-made Exynos 9610 chipset, coupled with 3GB or 4GB of RAM as well as 32/64/128GB of internal storage. It will be backed by a 3,500mAh cell with fast charging support.
Moving to the camera department, the main sensor on the rear will have a 48MP resolution, but it will still be capped at 12MP resolution by default. The details of the other rear camera and the selfie camera are still unknown.
It is expected to launch in Q2 this year, and there should be more details when the release event gets closer.
